Visa / Urban Survivalist

In 2018, Australians were starting to get used to digital wallet payments, but many were still unclear on where and when mobile payments worked. The answer, with Visa, was everywhere. To demonstrate this product truth in a way that would engage and resonate with younger audiences, we created Urban Survivalist, a reality show gone wrong featuring comedian Ronny Chieng, facing the urban jungle with nothing but his phone. The campaign saw an uptick in frequency of mobile Visa usage, and a deeper audience understanding of mobile payments as secure, convenient and easy.
